From there we headed to the Coliseum where Athletes Matt Pope, Daniel Fletcher and Timmy (Golf Athlete) with Coaches and 
Fathers Bob Pope, Warren Fletcher, and Coach Terry Uellendahl were there to meet and great the fans that entered the three entrance ways into the Arena. The Athletes and Coaches were just 12 rows from Center Ice enjoyed the game, plus we had 82 people in the stands that purchased tickets in support of the evening.
Prior to the National Anthem, the New York Islanders presented 5% of the ticket sales from the game with an on the ice check presentation in the amount of $21,000 dollar sponsorship for the Athletes of SONY LI Region. It was a nice evening for Special Olympics- NY LI Region, and we welcome the NY Islanders into our Corporate Sponsorship family. The Islanders are interested in continuing this night next season as well.
