Buses for Athletes and Coaches will be leaving from the Rose Mary Kennedy Center at 7:00am and will be returning around 5pm. The Peter Aquilone Floor Hockey Tournament is always an amazing competition and spectators are more then welcome to come and cheer on Long Island. Our Athletes have been training for weeks in both team and skills so please come and give them your support. | | | Complimentary Disney on Ice Tickets Available Special Notice: In addition to the $5 discount being offered for upcoming Friday performances in the NYC Metro Area, Disney on Ice has generously made 40 free tickets available to our athletes and coaches to this Friday's (January 9, 2010) performance at Nassau Coliseum. This will allow us to bring 4 Skiers, 2 Snowshoers, and 38 Floor Hockey Team Athletes. As you know we will not be able to bring Skill Athletes to Winter Games, although this is not ideal, we have had a Skill competition at our Lawrence Floor Hockey Tournament and we will also be bringing all of our Skill Athletes to Javits. If anyone has questions about our allotments please call me in the office at 631 254 1465 X13 or email your questions to creisig@nyso.org. | Hofstra University Basketball Clinic Hofstra University's Women's Basketball team will be offering a Clinic before their game that starts at 2pm. The clinic will run for 45 minutes and our Athletes are once again welcome to stay for the game and possibly have the opportunity to sit on the bench during the Game. Hofstra University has been extremely gracious with us so please do your best to make it. All of our Athletes are invited to the clinic and the game. Lets make it a big showing of support for Hofstra Women's Basketball for all that they have done for us.
